Kristoffer Ekman lives and works in Stockholm (Sweden). His practice is centered around a thematic triad of energy, time, and the multilayered facets of reality.
In april of 2022 he installed one of Sweden's largest photo-based works of art, on a new surface for contemporary art - a scaffolding during the renovation of a residential building.
Ekman has been awarded six scholarships from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and one from The Centre for Photography.
He is a member of Konstnärernas Riksorganisation(KRO)/The International Association of Art (IAA /AIAP), Konstnärscentrum (KC öst) and Konstnärshuset (SKF).
